We organize the Women First in Entrepreneurship Contest at the end of each period to support successful female entrepreneurs and give them the opportunity to inspire other women participating in the project with their success stories as role models.
Application numbers for the third Women First in Entrepreneurship Contest have reached an all-time high this year, with 621 applicants in total from all over Turkey. Within the scope of the contest, trainees sold their handmade products via the project’s web site. Participants of the contest were evaluated according to quantitative data such as sales volume, the number of posts uploaded into oncekadin.gov.tr, turnover with and without shipping cost. We awarded six women with a lifeline capital total value of 43,500 TL to help them realize their entrepreneurial dreams. Three participants won First Prize, two were deemed worthy of Jury’s Special Award and one participant, the designer of the most innovative product, was granted with Award for Product Innovation.
Since the beginning of the project, we have supplied successful entrepreneur women with 120,000 TL lifeline capital.
