As Vodafone Foundation, we stand by children.

Committed to driving social progress and transformation, the Vodafone Foundation continues to equip younger generations for a digital future.
Building on the success of its “Coding for Tomorrow” project — launched eight years ago and reaching over 400,000 children with coding education — the Vodafone Foundation has now introduced a new digital learning initiative: “AI Stars”.
Launched in collaboration with Habitat Association, the new project offers artificial intelligence training to middle school students aged 11–14 and high school students aged 14–18 across all 81 provinces of Türkiye. Led by young volunteers and teachers, the program provides students with the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of AI and develop their own projects.

In its first year, the “AI Stars” project aims to reach a total of 35,000 students.
Through AI training sessions and classroom workshops, students will begin with a 6-hour introductory course, where they will explore the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and examine coding examples. By the end of the program, they will be able to implement basic AI applications such as voice and image recognition. Students will also have the opportunity to further deepen their learning through the project website and with the support of volunteer trainers.
Two AI-focused hackathons — the SUJ Global Hackathon and the National AI Hackathon — will be organized to support students in developing their own projects using artificial intelligence. By accessing the training content and course modules available on the project website, students will be able to expand their knowledge and gain hands-on experience in fields such as artificial intelligence, Python programming, and virtual reality. Students will also explore the Green Planet theme by developing AI-driven solutions focused on sustainability. Through the Technology Classroom Network and the mobile Education Tent, AI trainings will also be extended to various cities and underserved regions, supporting broader access to digital education.

Childand Family Centers
Over the course of one year, we aim to reach at least 4500 children and parents, as well as 2500 young women, through our Child and Family Centers. Our goal is to deliver science-based programs to children, parents, and young women in the earthquake region in order to compensate for the learning loss of children, equip parents with the skills to support their children, and empower young women in collaboration with AÇEV.
