As a society, we are at a time that we need to act with the spirit of unity and solidarity. As Vodafone Turkey Foundation, we use technology to improve human life with our vision ‘technology for good’. Accordingly, we decided to organize an online ideathon for high school students. We will ask our students to develop a technological idea that will minimize the negative effects of the virus outbreak on the public. Our goal is to raise awareness about the pandemic and implement an applicable idea. We believe that we will overcome the coronavirus outbreak as soon as possible and with the least damage. We need young ideas to fight the pandemic. We invite all high school students to “Coding Tomorrow Online Covideathon”.
Chairman of the Habitat Association, Sezai Hazır stated:
“There is the fact that the coronavirus agenda that exists in our country and in the world creates a crisis for everyone. We, together with the young people who will be the architects of our future, will evaluate together how we can solve such a global crisis, and how we can proceed using technology together in the online ideathon process. As Habitat Association, we have worked with young people for years, we have seen many points where their ideas and studies were beneficial for our country. Now, when there is a global agenda, we will build this crisis and our future with the brightest ideas. With our online ideathon, we expect our high school students to take steps that will change the world.”
