"At Vodafone, we highly value and support the participation of our employees in our social responsibility projects. Through the Vodafone Volunteers Program, we aim to foster a culture of volunteering among our colleagues. With this program, we seek to build an emotional connection between our social responsibility initiatives and our employees, offering meaningful opportunities to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Together with our volunteers, we amplify the social impact of our projects, promoting employee development while creating value for society. This time, our volunteers joined the children in Gaziantep to celebrate April 23rd, sharing in their joy and excitement. The workshops at the AÇEV Gaziantep Nurdağı Child and Family Center were conducted in a festive atmosphere. As Vodafone, we will continue to support and expand our volunteering activities.”

The event at the AÇEV Gaziantep Nurdağı Child and Family Center began with an explanation of the significance of National Sovereignty and Children’s Day. Following face-painting activities, several simultaneous workshops, each lasting 25 minutes, were held. During these workshops, children designed their own puppets; created group paintings themed around April 23rd; painted and decorated items such as hats, masks, and canvas bags; prepared "no-bake healthy energy balls" in the cooking workshop; listened to stories and crafted sculptures of characters from those stories using modeling clay. Additionally, in a workshop organized by Habitat Association, children received training on artificial intelligence.
