Vodafone Turkey Wins One Gold Prize And One Silver Prize At Stevie.

Operating with the vision of leading the digitalization of Turkey, Vodafone has added a new one to its national and international achievements. Vodafone Turkey won 2 prizes in 16th Stevie International Business Awards that reward the most successful people and companies of the world. This year, Stevie Awards involved more than 4 thousand competitors from 74 countries and more than 250 senior executives in 12 juries. While “Women First in Entrepreneurship Mobile Application” implemented by Vodafone Turkey Foundation in cooperation with the Directorate General for Lifelong Learning of the Ministry of National Education and Turkey Informatics Foundation has been granted the Golden Stevie in the category of “2019 Mobile Website and Application Awards – Public Service – Activism” , the “Sustainability Report” of Vodafone Turkey for the financial year 2017-18 won the Silver Stevie in the category of “2019 Publication Awards – Other – Company”. 16th Stevie International Business Awards will be presented in a ceremony to be organized in Vienna on October 19th.

Women First in Entrepreneurship Mobile Application has been downloaded for almost 30 thousand times

Women First in Entrepreneurship Mobile Application developed under the “Women First in Entrepreneurship” project realized by Vodafone Turkey Foundation in cooperation with the Directorate General for Lifelong Learning of the Ministry of National Education and Turkey Informatics Foundation aims at reaching more women using the power of technology and increasing the technology use penetration. All women from 81 provinces can participate in the project thanks to this application which in-class training are transferred to the digital environment. The application allows the women who were project participants to receive entrepreneurship and technology trainingthrough a mobile application. Women who have completed their training are allowed to load their products to the digital stores at oncekadin.gov.tr through the application and follow up their products on their profile pages in the application. While Women First in Entrepreneurship Mobile Application has been downloaded for almost 30 thousand times, the number of women who completed their training through the application exceeded 10 thousand.

More than 12 thousand applications from more than 70 countries
