“Black Eagles Of Tomorrow” Had Coding Training In Vodafone Park.

Coding training was held at Vodafone Park for young talents who were taken to a camp in Istanbul as part of the project “Black Eagles of Tomorrow”, the World’s first digital scouting (soccer talent hunting) project conducted by Vodafone and Beşiktaş JK partnership. In the Vodafone Turkey Foundation sponsored event organized under the “Coding Tomorrow project, 35 children, ranging from ages 8-13, learned about programming, and done numerous activities to bring out their creativity.

Being  taken to the talent camp in Istanbul within the scope of the “Black Eagles of Tomorrow” project that is alleged to contribute to the future of Turkish football by Vodafone and Beşiktaş JK, who signed the biggest sponsorship agreement of Turkish sports history, the young finalists, were introduced to coding as the language of technology. 35 children between the ages of 8-13, who are preparing for the grand finale to enter the Beşiktaş JK young team, attended coding training held at Vodafone Park, within Vodafone Turkey Foundation’s “Coding Tomorrow” project. The training lasted about 2 hours and was followed by Vodafone Turkey Foundation Chairman Hasan Süel. During the training, young talents were introduced to programming, creating apps, stories, and games. While the “Black Eagles of Tomorrow”, were learning about programming, they have also done numerous activities to bring out their creativity.

Vodafone Turkey Foundation Chairman Hasan Süel noted that one of the most valuable assets of a country was its youth, and he continued:

“As Vodafone, we support the development of our youth in Turkey with our social projects such as ‘Coding Tomorrow’ and ‘Black Eagles of Tomorrow’. The youth is our future. It is our duty to prepare them for the future. Today, digitization is an important value that equates opportunity to every field. Today, we are pleased to introduce our young football player candidates to the language of the digital world. We will continue to prepare our young people for the exciting world of the future.”

Grand final on July 13

35 children between the ages of 8-13 who passed the regional elements in the project “Black Eagles of Tomorrow” met in İstanbul for Beşiktaş JK’s “Black Eagles of Tomorrow Talent Camp” held at Nevzat Demir facilities. Young talents who trained for 3 days under the supervision of Beşiktaş JK’s experienced scout and coaches will attend the final event tomorrow (July 13) that will be held at Vodafone Park. At least 3 children, determined in the final selection, will earn the opportunity to enter Beşiktaş JK young team.
